About the Author

My connection with the Braund Family is through Edward Braund an engine driver  for the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway, who married Alice Cox my Grand-Father's step-sister. Edward's family came from the Exeter area to live at Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and settling eventually at Huntspill near Highbridge in Somerset.

The gentleman just about to climb into the engine cab is Edward Braund
