The Chancel
Restored in 1878 one can see to the left the outline of the organ and fixed to the eastern wall behind the altar are the Cherub plate fragments of the Grinling Gibbons Statuary. In front of the chancel steps and now covered by a carpet, is the tombstone of Richard Lock and his wife which was the only known burial to have taken place inside the church.
