The Nave 1906

This view shows the 18th century candelabra hanging from the ceiling and both Ten Commandments Boards. The recess towards the upper left of centre above one of the Commandment Boards shows the remains of steps that led at one time to the rood loft. The Boards were designed, drawn and written by Mr. Thomas Bryant in 1776. Lower down to the right by the porch entrance is probably one of the first radiators to be manufactured, the fire for this is hidden by the open inner door and had its chimney going through the roof above the porch. Note also the name plates at the aisle end of each pew.
